Advanced Rehab and Medical, P.C. can recommend physical therapy, also known as PT, when creating your customized treatment plan in Jackson, TN. Whether we combine it with one of our other medical services or focus on it, physical therapy helps improve your health so you can more easily engage in physical activities. Physical therapy can restore movement capabilities and strength in a variety of situations, including injury recovery, chronic pain management, or post-partum.
You can visit us Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. To make medical care more accessible, we offer payment plans and a complimentary initial consultation.
Physical therapy plays a crucial role in recovery from injuries caused by accidents, sports, or other factors. It can also be highly effective in managing symptoms of chronic conditions like diabetes and arthritis. Additionally, doctors often recommend physical therapy to restore pelvic and back strength following childbirth.
At Advanced Rehab and Medical, we frequently combine chiropractic care with physical therapy to help patients improve gait, balance, and overall mobility.
At Advanced Rehab and Medical, P.C., we create individualized treatment plans to address your specific needs and optimize your well-being. The versatility of physical therapy makes it an effective method to help you get your health back so you can do the things you love safely and comfortably.
During your first appointment, our provider performs a thorough physical examination and evaluates your needs. We usually ask you questions about your symptoms and your current strengths and limitations to perform daily tasks. If you have any medical records, we recommend you bring them, so we have the whole picture before starting your treatment.
During your PT visits, we use specific methods to improve your health, including massage, heat, cold therapy, cupping, and targeting stretching and strengthening exercises. We may incorporate chiropractic care to alleviate back or joint pain that interferes with your well-being.
We generally recommend you do exercises and stretches at home to build on the work we do at our practice. Our staff members make sure to demonstrate them and answer any questions you may have. This helps you perform these activities safely on your own.
As you make progress and reach specific goals, our physical therapist adjusts what we work on during your appointments and what you do at home.
